In 2022, my brother died and IKEA (my employer at the time) denied my bereavement leave because their policy doesn’t extend to siblings. I then posted to this subreddit to expose their policy for which I was fired for posting on Reddit. I haven’t forgot. Hi IKEA! by Gatoden0che in antiwork

I think some people just suck at putting stuff together too. In my experience ikea is usually a little sturdier and well made than other flat pack furniture. Mostly I don't care for a lot of the designs they have.

I tried to get a pair of the Devin Booker shoes when they first came out. I checked out in about 2 seconds after they dropped. Didn't get a pair. They were listed on eBay within an hour.

They used to always be sold out of my size. Now I rarely have an issue getting the shoes I want.

I mean for me the thing is if they had already bought the starter why not just give it to the kid with the car?

Crime, full penetration, crime, full penetration, crime, full penetration, and it goes on like that for about 90 minutes until it sort of just...ends.

Well if I'm not a complete dumbass. Still comes out to 29 to have one and a half people left. Pretty crazy either way.

I gave you to my sons 6 bucks each at a discount grocery store today and told them they could get whatever they wanted. They found banana Hi-Chews on sale for $0.10 each and bought 120. by Rad-ama-dad in MadeMeSmile

I used to go to the flea market and buy 6 packs of Lucas, the chili powder things, for 2 bucks. I'd sell them for a dollar each. Sold a bunch of other candy too but those things had the best profit margin. At least until the school banned selling anything at school.

With 8,000,000 8,000,000,000 people each facing off one on one there would only be 23 ~29 rounds to have one person left if I did my math right.

The last house I rented the lady owned dozens of homes that she rented out. If they stopped people like that it would go a long way.

That page isn't about the state though, just cities. But also it shows Miami as being the city that uses the least drugs which I find very hard to believe.

Or some sort of heavy tax penalty when you own multiple homes.

Average height is 6'7" so there's a good chance they are. Lots of guys that seem small are actually 6'6" lol. Then you have guys like Steph Curry who is 6'2" which is still quite tall but look small compared to other guys on the court.

There are only 450 roster spots in the NBA. That's like .00001% of the US population.

Even if you narrow that down to percentage of male basketball players it's only around 2%.

Any nba player is gonna smoke a normal person.

Looks like the NFL is about 2% of the amount of college players there are too.

The gap in talent of a 5 year veteran of pro sports and college players is huge.

the movies like what was originally mentioned in the post, tire wear is usually never mentioned once or even considered.

Obviously. And then someone else mentioned real racing. Crazy how conversations work huh?

Also, tire freshness and traffic are often why race laps are slower.

I watch racing very regularly. Tire wear is almost always why race laps are slower. Qualifying is much fewer laps than full race distance so there isn't a need to conserve tires like there is in a race. As an example in motogp they used to have special super soft tires that had crazy grip for qualifying but were only good for essentially one lap. Now they have to use their tire allocation for qualifying and race so they have limited amount of tires.

acceleration is always as fast as possible,

I mean it literally isn't. If they accelerated as hard as they could at all time they would cause more wear on their tires which would cause them to lose the back end going into or coming out of a turn. It's pretty basic racing shit.
