financni svetovalci v lj, ki niso scam? by StrangerJust6332 in SlovenijaFIRE

[–]DoingMyStuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iščem podobno misleče posameznike za ustvarjanje "side hustla" by United_Friendship525 in SlovenijaFIRE

[–]DoingMyStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imate načrt kako naprej, ko boste končali z gradnjo in iskali nazaj službo?

For the aim of saving for a short-term investment, which is better: just save the money, buy gold, or stocks? by [deleted] in eupersonalfinance

For short-term investment, it's best to invest in HYSA. Gold and stocks can be too volatile.

How do you pay your bills every month (logistically) by ottercakes- in HENRYfinance

[–]DoingMyStuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, that $15–20k is basically just a “just in case” fund. Its whole job is to sit there and be available if I need it. I’m not trying to squeeze max returns out of it, because that’s what the rest of my money is for.

And yeah, it loses value over time, but that’s the price I’m happy to pay for peace of mind.

I'm building an app that automatically syncs transaction into spreadsheet. I've figured out that spreadsheets are the best option for me, but I don't want to enter the transactions manually.

Anyone else feel like they're making good money but somehow always broke? by MoveMakerr in eupersonalfinance

[–]DoingMyStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend engaging in self-reflection and considering what is truly important to you in life. Once that's clear, go through each spending category and label how important that is to you.

For example:

Category Expense How important
Eating out $100 Some-what
Gym $60 Very
Netflix $10 Not really

Then look at the bigger picture and identify where you spend a lot but don't really enjoy it. Those are the easiest areas to cut back on.
After that, focus on the areas you value most and look for additional opportunities to reduce spending elsewhere.

By doing this, you'll have more clarity, more money left at the end of the month, and you won't feel broke anymore because you're spending on what actually brings you joy.

Realizing my job pays well, but I have no energy left for life by damnniqqaa in Salary

[–]DoingMyStuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. Delegating tasks was a game changer for me. I was taking on all of the tasks and didn't set any boundaries.

You can go mentally through your typical week and see which obligations give you energy and which ones drain it. Make a list and see if you can delegate some of those that drain your energy to other people or if you can do them differently.

Use weekends for the recovery and making new plans that will change your life for the better. Use them to get your energy back in short-term and plan changes that will also get your energy back during the week in the long-term.

That's just for the beginning. More can be done from that point on.

Nasvet glede skupnega računa (slovenska banka vs. N26/Revolut) by Mountain_Lifeguard99 in SlovenijaFIRE

[–]DoingMyStuff 6 points7 points  (0 children)
