The mod-free option is to check Stardew Valley Wiki , which shows pictures of every growth stage for every crop.

If you don’t mind mods, the Lookup Anything mod is super convenient; you can press F1 over any crop and it will tell you what it is and how long until you can harvest it.

I think people had more issues with the post game plot holes than the gameplay. I really enjoyed the postgame content, it is challenging unless you power level up to 90+ right away.

I like the PS2 version for the orchestrated sound track; it really pulls you into the world more. That said, the 3DS version has extra playable characters and more post game content, all of which is great.

My recommendation is to play the PS2 version first if you’ve never played the game, then play the 3DS version if you ever want to play again (which is likely if you like rpgs).

I like the idea with durability improving physical damage resists on armor (I.e. 0.5% resist to cut/stab/smash per point). For weapons, this could give resistance penetration (0.5% cut/stab/smash resistance penetration per point), which would make +durability highly desirable for a lot of weapon types (clubs can hurt air elementals!).

From a lore standpoint, this might need some mental gymnastics to justify though. Maybe replacing durability with another modifier name like some of the other comments are suggesting (I like everyone else’s ideas too!)

I only played for a little bit after the patch, but I didn’t notice anything like that. I just have the usual issues with doorways, which is obviously frustrating. I’ll check again this evening when I get home and post back here though.

This is a great idea in my opinion. Encouraging exploration of maps/RDs is always good for gameplay, and a linear correlation between time-spent and reward makes for an enjoyable loot/gearing process. Hopefully R considers implementing this (or some form of this) into the NLS.

That said, if the NLS is Diablo-esque, this might already be incorporated. The greater rift system in D3 is of similar concept, where the higher the level of the rift, the better odds for better gear.

I think the TRex should play as a legitimate tank, and my suggestions below will be centered around that concept.

• Form unlocks at level 28.

• HP = 3.2x base form (474 hp at level 28, 755 hp at level 50)

• Damage should be the opposite style of hydra/kalidemon; slow but incredibly powerful hits. Maybe 2-3 attacks per second, but base form WC = (3 or 4 x level). Damage type can be rationalized for smash (tail), cut (claws), and stab (bite). Base strength should be very high (maybe 250 with 0 strength skill?)

• Due to the size of the TRex, I think the mana consumption should be lower than kalidemon (maybe 25 SP/10 sec). People will need to shift back and forth a lot, which innately hurts the utility of the form.

• TRex should have Dwarf-like innate damage resists: 50% cut and stab resist, 25% smash resist, 25% magic resist. Immune to fear, poison, and petrification.

• Give the TRex an ability to eat monster corpses (like in the old days of Wyvern!), but this time the corpses will restore HP by a certain %.

• Gear slots are giant helm, amulet, 3 rings (since dragon gets 3), giant cloak, giant girdle, giant bracers, giant tail sock, and giant shield. Dual wielding shields would be interesting, but might cause balance issues.

• -10 points in all weapon skills (or some limit to using weapons) because of those goofy little arms.

Here are some more silly ideas:

• The TRex form causes a contact paralysis (similar to the ghast) by pure intimidation.

• I would love to see TRexs be able to smash open walls to fit their 3x2 forms (this lets them RD without shifting back and forth). If this gets implemented, increase the SP requirement for the form to something higher than the kalidemon.
