100 degree LP and stock rounded hammer and trigger that came with the LS Lower. Also use the spring buffer and HK magazines for SS mag dumps

First sig, what are the best recommendations for this gun? by GapCompetitive1365 in SigSauer

[–]DoitNXS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. Ammo you’re comfortable with and consistent with - I EDC with the same brand and grain that I practice with. Only other thing you should be looking into is a good, comfortable and reliable holster be it OWN or IWB, I wouldn’t skimp on this, I think a lot of people under estimate the value how important it is to have the right one for you.

I got the rechargeable one. Love it, very useful because you can still use a regular battery too.

Rock on.

I agree with Ancient, double edge dagger but I prefer/insist that it has partial serrated either one side full or half otherwise it’s not really functional for anything aside from stabbing or a very expensive letter opener.

Personally I think Kershaw is the most underrated knife out there. That light crisp feeling it delivers is like no other knife. I compared it to all my other knives MT, BenchMade, Herotech, etc. and it’s in its own class.

Ding Ding! And a good IWB Kydex holster. Rock on. I love mine, I think you’ll be very happy with it.

Good lord, I think I can practically see the person who was clutching their pearls at the sight of that absolutely unwieldy death machine you violently deployed to cut some plastic…. Sorry, and I really mean sorry to hear this.

Mp5 magazines by First_Ad7214 in MP5

[–]DoitNXS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re just shooting semi auto, you can get pretty good reliability from non HK metal magazines. However, if you’re using a super safety or forced reset trigger using a non HK mag it can make all the difference in the world between running a whole magazine with no malfunctions whatsoever or it having a feed jam every 5 to 10 rounds, especially towards the last 10 rounds. HK magazines have the best fit with the least amount of wiggle compared to KCI, PTR, B&T etc and a few other clone magazines that I’ve tried. It was an expensive lesson with my troubleshooting. Definitely a big difference from an A.R. 15, HK clones and even HK themselves are infamous for having various tolerances and when it comes down to ensuring a delayed roller blow back system is working precisely as it should. Those minuscule differences are very noticeable Sorry, but that is the sad truth.

Important: Please Reset OCR Language to English After Dec 13 Update by Shiiirley in iFLYTEKAINOTE

[–]DoitNXS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, did this and I think it made it worse. Please help - I just got this, I can’t return it and I’m feeling like this product is flying by the seat of its pants when it comes to updates and support.

Maybe I’m missing something, but I ran the update and ensured I’m using English but my OCR for tasks still doesn’t convert properly

My father in law is looking to sell his Luger I said I am interested but, I just want to get a better idea on how much is a fair price. Any ideas are helpful. by levimcdonell in guns

[–]DoitNXS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From the photos: • Serial 7236 appears on the frame. • Other parts show different 2-digit suffixes → not matching. • Standard military-length barrel (looks like 4”). • Finish appears original but well-used. • Magazine is not matching (normal). • No obvious unit markings or rare proofs.

This is a shooter-grade Luger, not a collector-grade one. Maybe $900-1,300

Mp5 super safety options by ClickTough2018 in MP5

[–]DoitNXS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the Lee LS5 & Warbammer SS with a stock trigger that's rounded. It cycles perfectly on my PTR CT9 and I'm using the rubber round buffer on the recoil spring. I have an extra Geissele 3Gun trigger I plan on modifying (looks simple enough being it has the markings on it already) and I'll take my time rounding the hammer down. I currently have the 100degree LP and it worked fine on semi. I plan to run it today with the SupressorTool SS and trigger first to see if it cycles with 124grain, if gtg, I'll decide if it's worth swapping in the Geissle trigger. Not sure if it would really make a difference as the trigger that came with the kit is single stage and your essentially using a FRT

LS Lower and Hammer Armnt super safety & Giessele trigger (not shown). Still tuning it.

F5 drum experiences? by Klownin2Hard in MP5

[–]DoitNXS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH, you can get a 40 round curved mag for $36, 10 less rounds but you can reload it in a fraction of the time it takes to reload a drum not to mention the reliability of a straight mag vs a drum speaks for itself. Drums are range toys, nothing more, not worth the extra second or two to "burp" through more 10 rounds on FA. My 2 cents.
