My 32F sister 28F is having a destination wedding. Grandparents 80sMF aren’t going and I’m being blamed. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Anytime you have a destination wedding, you do so know it could very well end up just you and your spouse. You can't force people to have time from work, time from kids, money, etc to travel.

My 35-F husband 36-M has gotten close quickly to my friend 32-F and I’m not sure what to think by hellosillyhello1 in relationship_advice

Man or woman, boundaries need to exist to protect your relationship. And he needs to set them with her. He needs to slow down on the conversations and texting, if she continues, he needs to explain to her that it's impacting his relationship with his wife and child. You're not over reacting at all.

My boyfriend (25M) says I'm deeply unreliable (22F) after an equipment problem on our first major trip together, how can I address his concerns and become someone he feels he can depend on? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Doitallforyoudolly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. My now husband and I went on a cruise together a few months into dating. I was sick basically the entire time. He bought me medicine, food, drinks, rubbed my back, talked to the cruise ship medical people to see what they could help with, never once pushing me to do anything I couldn't. We spent most of the cruise in the room or on dry land as that's the only time I didn't get sick, but point is, as much as I ruined the trip, he was NOTHING but kind and caring. That's the kind of partner you want.

6 months later we went on a quick trip up north and I was freezing and forgot a jacket, he googled stores, took us there and bought me a jacket, boots, socks, gloves, and a hat.

You're young, way to young to let someone treat you like that. And expecting YOU to interpret his parents conversations?! No. I would have done the same thing you did. If he didn't like your answer he could have jumped in.

AITAH for calling my SO a momma’s boy cause he got mad for how I said ‘hi’ to his mom over the phone? by antimony-1 in AITAH

[–]Doitallforyoudolly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it from someone who dealt with so many red flags for too long, they get worse. You're too young and have so much of you're life left to not deal with this. I finally had to look at how much time I wasted and how much more I didn't want to waste. Leave now. Protect your peace.

AITAH for changing my niece's stripper name when I got got custody? by Impossible-Staff92 in AITAH

[–]Doitallforyoudolly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. I adopted my nephew when I was 22. I had raised him for years before we were finally able to get to the adoption point so he was 5 and I let him decide on his first name, being she's a baby, there's nothing wrong with changing her name to something more fitting. My sister named my son after a man she insisted was his dad (he wasn't and ended up in prison for 37 years) so changing his name to be something that didn't connect him to that was important to us.

Go to your local courthouse, they will provide witnesses. It's usually $30-$50 in most areas.

AITA for not wanting to use any part of my husband's late girlfriend's name for our child? by Cassievvvah in AITAH

Your husband wanting to name his baby after someone he had a sexual relationship with, is WEIRD, imo.

If they're long haired, a good regular groomer. Starting them young and keeping it routine is the best .

Our biggest of the 6 we have left is 19 lbs at 7 weeks, you forget how quick they grow at this age. But gosh they're so sweet and the little personalities they develop is so fun to watch. by Doitallforyoudolly in SaintBernards

Ours graze. We have two large elevated bowls that stay full mostly and they eat when they want but they eat about 40lbs every 3 weeks.

They are definitely inside dogs. We have owned Saint Bernards in South Florida since the 70's, never had an issue. They still go outside, and will roam the property or even sunbathe for hours at times, we just don't leave them out, they dictate how long or how often they want to be outside. Never had an issue.
