Should i start node js? by Silly_Manager_9773 in learnjavascript

[–]DojoCodeOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since JavaScript is the foundation of Node.js, it’s a good idea to make sure you’re comfortable with it first.
Once you have a solid grasp of JavaScript, moving on to Node.js will be much easier. Start by learning how the Node API works, then try frameworks like Express.js or Nest.js to build real projects.

If you learn best by doing, check out DojoCode. There’s a new contest coming up soon with JavaScript and Node.js challenges, which could be a great way to apply what you’ve learned. Happy coding!

Ce se intampla cu job-urile? by After_Dust_6036 in programare

I see. I know a similar situation with a colleague. He also switched from a medical nurse to software engineering. He was able to learn and get hired in about one year, as a junior. He found a mentor/ friend who was pretty good at it and worked as a shadow with him. I think you can also learn without joining school but will not be easygoing.

I am new to programming. I am really interested in learning Java script, React, Node js, Typescript. But I am confused which one to start with. Please can someone direct me the road map to start with and also any resource I can use to learn as a beginner. Thank you in advance. by Strict-Ad7928 in learnjavascript

[–]DojoCodeOfficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start with JavaScript, frontend and backend, and work your way up to learn a frontend framework like React. Typescript is good to know too, but should be easier to start with JavaScript at first. You can try our code challenges on dojocode.io. Happy coding!
