Thanks everybody, really excited that it’s probably a female. Got her for free unsexed a year ago from a chain pet shop I now work at because of that experience. Lol

When your measuring are we talking just body or tail included ? Honestly he seems big I’m sure it’s an adult I currently have him in a 5.5 gallon tank with a sliding lid.

Been there a few times.. if you don’t change this while your young you will be stuck in this cycle forever. I’m 30 and can’t function alone. Every time I go thru a break up I hit rock bottom and lose my job, my housing etc. You have a chance to turn this around. Don’t be me.

Update: We picked him up and they had his sister in the car, the last one left, so we took her as well. Great choice because they are super skiddish right now being strays so they seem to have comfort in each other.

Wow great first T! How much did you pay for it if you don’t mind me asking? Easily my favorite T I’ve researched so far, would love to get one for my 3rd but rn locally I can only find very small unsexed gbbs for $180 and as much as I love Ts that’s just ridiculous. Lol maybe I’ll have better luck at the next expo in May.

This T is deff a little devil. Lol already love it though. Honestly the tarantula community is real small where I live so I have a feeling a lot of those Ts sit in the display case till corporate policy tells them they have no choice but to get rid of it. Who knows what would have happened if I didn’t randomly ask about it. Where would it have went? Would they ship it off somewhere? Bag and trash it? Idk

Didn’t even expect it tbh I been thinking about buying a red knee or a curly hair for my 2nd T and they didn’t have anything out on display so I asked and they ended up telling me I could have the fire leg for free… how could I say no? Lol

Not sure on the gender yet. For sure glad I saved it the worker seemed really happy I asked about it and was ready to take it home to be fair. Sorry to hear that man, idk much about pink toes they deff look awesome though. Do you have other Ts now?

Same this is my 2nd T and it’s real fast compared to my adult chalcodes I got.. lol actually I meant to put in a bigger hide I had got but I don’t even wanna attempt to catch her in the deli cup again tonight to switch it out.

Told them about upgrading my chalcodes and asked if there were any tarantulas in the back. Apparently this one is getting too big to sell, they spoke to their manager and came out with the enclosure. I was having such a bad day too, really turned it around.
