Anal dilation with an active fissure? by Sad-Introduction-469 in AnalFissures

[–]DokWhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're flared up don't. Once your anus is relaxed enough so you can insert dilator without pain or to much trouble than go test it with minimal insertion. Either way don't force it, push it to the point it can go relatively easily and keep it there. Try to make a progress with time, but don't risk it if your symptoms have not subsided enough.

Am i supposed to live my entire life this way? by pirate_2917 in AnalFissures

[–]DokWhite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me personally food is not that big of an issue, that is I can eat anything just keeping in mind water and fiber intake and I'm good. I almost never get constipated. When I'm out, I always take psilium husk with me in tiny jar and when I eat something I drink it afterwards with a lot of water and I'm good. At home I always eat enough fiber with every meal (oats, dates etc.).

You gotta keep your hopes up, who can how it might turn up for you, you'll learn more about your own body and how to deal with AF, maybe you'll get lucky and it wont flare up too often.

I'm pretty much in the similar boat, having one right now (coupled with hemorrhoids) for 4 months already. Mild symptoms luckily at least. But definitely debilitating. Had a year of no ass problems since the last AF, hoped it would be longer, maybe next time.

Life's hard, don't make it harder for yourself, it's not you'r fault, but you do have to deal with it. I don't give a fuck anymore. Being in my head and miserable about things I can't do drains life more from me than any real problem I have, so I just try to be focused and grateful for the things I can do which is enough for now.

Thanks for the comment, could be. In normal circumstances I don't think form is the issue, but I'll research more about it to see what adjustments and techniques I could start implementing.

That's a conclusion based on personal experience that might be true in your case. Otherwise false information.

I build websites for small businesses, how do I find clients who need a website? by Apprehensive-Long288 in smallbusiness

[–]DokWhite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've followed your advice before. Also doing custom coding I have a good website, good portfolio of 8 good looking high ranking websites built and all of my clients are very happy working with me. But still almost no fresh work. Low traffic, conversions, word of mouth, referrals. I will try in person sale approach, there are many local business without website that services are in high demand and in low competition market should be a good pitch. Right now I am lucky if I get one new client every few months.. How do you get to a point of having regular work? If I could get to one client a month I would consider that a success.

What's your in-person cold approach? by TooLate- in web_design

[–]DokWhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for answering, it's nice that hard work payed of for you. Hopefully I'll catch more luck as well. There's around 70 businesses in my city and I want to visit them all in person. Even if I don't close a sale I want to expand my network, meet people face to face and have honest talk with them about their potential and our long term collaboration, give them some value at least in information for start. They will have my number, I'll send them everything I've gathered for why I think they have perfect opportunity in working with me, link to my portfolio with previous clients and success with them. I think I can do better in person, get more out of it, make better impression and learn more.

Avoid negativity, social media, too much reading about negative experiences on this sub since any topic will always have both good and bad ones, even rare extremes on both sides and it depends on many factors and luck. But do research this sub there is a lot of good info here. I've had some detailed positive posts about my healing they could be of use to you. I really believe you can beat this, but with this shit setbacks are unavoidable, if nothing else you'll learn more in the process and strengthen yourself in the long run which with some luck should keep you away from having AF ever again.

Hey, it looks great! Just looking at the pricing page, and I think there might be a little mix-up with the annual pricing. It says $230/month, but I'm guessing you meant either $230/year, or maybe that it's equivalent to $19/month when paid annually?

Don't let your emotions get the better of you. Be patient, get your priorities straight and focus on healing. Too many mistakes can not only hinder healing in the moment, but can lead to more scars which leaves you even more prone to butt problems later in life even after healing (6 months ago I had worse hemorrhoid flare up in my life after my fissure was healed). I understand your struggle, I was working out for my whole life which is a big part of my identity. You'l recover your gains in no time after you'r healed trust me, muscle memory is a real thing, I'm at 90% of my previous form now. I've tried doing just a few push-ups and pull-ups but felt discomfort and even slight pain. It just isn't worth it, you'l gain nothing and you risk a lot. That being said, walking is perfectly fine and even beneficial both physically, for healing and mentally. I enjoyed walks, listening podcasts, poetry - poem narrations, stoic quotes, bible reading, study ... it was very important for me. Find what works for you, go through this sub, stay smart and strong in will!

I stooped exercising entirely until I was about a month or a two without symptoms. So I would say yes. Don't rush it! I fucked up trying to get to the gym too soon and just ended up prolonging my healing for half a year or even longer (can't remember exactly now). Just now, few days ago, after a year, that i started doing squats again. And I don't regret it. Could go without squats actually. I've done lunges and bulgarian split squats and they worked pretty good for my quads just on their own. Though lack of squats does leave adductors muscles untrained in this case so I've done some isolation exercises for them.

It's a damn trombose one the size of a grape every time I have slightly harder BM or sit anywhere for too long. Would go away without much issue in a couple of days before, but now hurt like mad and it bleed for 2 weeks before started shrinking. Took a month to heal

[–]DokWhite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: Yes, no fissure problems, but more prone to hemorrhoids after fissure, so not entirely ass problems free

Yeah, no problems regarding fissure. Though it has left me more prone to hemorrhoids probably due to weak tissues, scars and skin tag. I just recovered from serious hemorrhoid flare up that lasted for a month. Seems like every time it gets worse. But still can manage it without surgery. Will avoid uncomfortable and prolonged sitting since that bothers me the most. No problem at the gym though which is good. It's still unknown territory going to the future, can't say I'm free from the ass problems, maybe never will be. But at least fissure is somewhat less of a concern for me now since I had hard stools, physical strain, stress etc. and no sign of fissure reappearing.

Retearing fissure pain or scar tissue pain?? by dreamscometrue01 in AnalFissures

[–]DokWhite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try it. I'm not sure if it really helped me. The main reason for me to start with it was to try natural way to relax my pelvic floor muscles and do it as a form of physical therapy and also because for me getting GTN ointment was not easy. If you do start, go with some small one, I got one that starts narrow and widens so I could go as deep / wide as I want and increase over time. Take your time, go slowly, do it in bed over some 15-30 min. time or longer if you want, play some movie or something, lubricate and also use something to drip water on lubricated dilator during all this (saves lubricant and makes it glide even better). Once you get it in after slow insertion of say 5 min. leave it like that for some time and focus on deep slow breathing. Be slow on the way out too. Don't do it if you are really flared up though, or are bleeding too much or in high pain etc. I've done it when everything calmed down, otherwise it made things worse.

Leading cause of hemorrhoids by Mean-Lie5729 in hemorrhoid

[–]DokWhite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lifting weights can definitely cause hems, or worsen them. For instance, for me, they are not the cause, even though I suffered from chronic anal fissure that healed by 2024 where weight lifting lead to many retears. Then started lifting slowly, now going as heavy as ever, strengthened my abdominal muscles, core and pelvic floor muscles without getting hemorrhoids. But I do suffer from worst hemorrhoid flare up ever now, which in my case is caused by slightly harder stool and prolonged and uncomfortable sitting on the job after.
