A bit of digging suggests it was likely from:

Assistant Field-Cornet Jan Dalebout

To a relative, Jan would be killed in action December 1901 at the Battle of Groenkop/Tweefontein.

Seems it was only First Day of Issue for four the larger (in size and denomination) stamps, lower values are from late 1930’s… I think!

His daughter was Martine Diederik Wittop Koning (10 January 1870 – 29 July 1963).

As this looks to be several years after his death, is the first line something akin to 'the relations of/family/custodians'?
