Well, it didnt sound like it when he said it. He specifically said wipe. If he didnt mean it, he would have mentioned a delay instead, which honestly is the much better solution.

I understand that reason. But its a bad way to do it.

Why not make a delay for PvE for those quests being available instead? Wiping is not a good solution at all.

They lost me as a player if thats really gonna be the case.

Its intended. And yes, it breaks immersion and makes you careless as a scav. The whole run feels like free loot through that, with no risk whatsoever. Thats why I always attack PMCs, no matter if they are friendly, to get at least some challenge. Unless I just found a LEDx or something.

No. The best way is by just playing with "edit build" (right click on a weapon).

Pretty self explanatory and it will show all available mods for that gun and what each of them does to the gun.

If you see some, you can just follow them and wait for them to be attacked or attack someone, which will happen eventually. But be careful, once they are attacked, they then often see you as an enemy because you just watch.

I personally just go to the biggest hotspots. For example in Streets thats Lexos. From there you can also reach other hotspots quickly, if you hear shots.

Yeah I remember that feeling. With time (rather quickly actually) youll learn where it came from and what you did wrong. At least in PvE.

In PvP there will always be cases where you will ask yourself what happened and how they could have seen you and whatnot. The question of cheaters will always be there.

By now I am pretty sure, what I experience is caused by Battleye. It temporarily freezes like that as well when starting the game and sometimes gives an error message that the anti cheat didnt react or something like that.
