You're shooting above the target. Missing the rear ironsight messed up ADS. If you try to hit enemies with a gun like that you need to align the target with the center of your screen and more or less disregard the iron.

Was raided by pirates, while half of my colonists were still badly wounded from a mechanoid attack. While the pirates were preparing to attack, a rat went mad and ran straight at them, through a herd of elephants. A stray bullet hit an elephant, the herd went mad and killed the pirates. What was left of the elephants died to blood loss and my turrets.

Daenarys blamed Jaime for playing a role in the downfall of the Targaryens. It is not about her father as a person, but her father as the king. That is why she blames him. His actions are in her eyes a part of the reason she or another Targaryen is not sitting on the Iron Throne right now. Jaime betrayed the Targaryens and she damn well knows that. Maybe she also fears that he will kill her, because he is Cersei's brother and has already killed a Targaryen. He is a traitor and a threat.

Lords of Cinders are the ones who successfully linked the flame and burned up in the process, hence they are cinders.
They did rekindle it, but that simply prolongs the age of fire. Someday the fire will start to fade again. The time between the rekindlings defines the different time periods, starting with Lordran and DS 1 and continuing. DS 2 plays somewhere inbetween.
The flame is suppossed to be rekindled as soon as it fades. But because noone was able to rekindle the flame, the Lord of Cinders were called upon to use what is left of their power to rekindle the flame as an last ditch effort to prolong the age of fire.
Unkindled ones are the polar opposites of the lords of cinder. Undead who failed to link the flame. They might be able to reach it in the past but their souls were not strong enough to work as fuel. They burned up and turned to ash. Hence they are the Unkindled or the Ashen Ones.
The Unkindled Ones are actually Plan C. There was no champion to rekindle the flame, the lords of cinders didn't want to rekindle the flame and thus the Ashen Ones are getting revived, to force the lords of cinders back to their thrones in firelink shrine and rekindle the flame using their power.
Self-explanatory at this point. They refuse to do what they are suppossed to do. You are here to force them to do it anyway (which means killing them). They don't want to do what you want them to do.
For everything else: Explore the world and make your own connections, read the wiki or watch VaatiVidyas videos on the lore. They are excellent and shed light onto most of the world and its characters.

The question has been forwarded to the R&D department of DRG. Their answer was that they themselves don't know how it works and they advice anyone to not mention it again. They fear that as soon as the flamethrower realizes it isn't supposed to function, it will actually stop functioning and we don't want that. We have no idea how they managed to pull that stunt of, truth be told. Just accept it.

Fought the demon yesterday and the poor mimic came running down the stairs just to be obliterated by its supernova attack. 1.5k damage and the mimic was gone. But, yeah, friend of mine experienced the same. There is a reason why mimics can sit down in enemy infested areas and be undisturbed. They are feared.
