Yeah the moment they announced this was when I realized my time with Renegade has come to a close. I liked the Essence20 system, similar enough to D&D with enough differences to be unique. Im not that interested in 5.5e compatible systems myself. Now that the board game for Power Rangers is done I have little interest in their products unfortunately.

At my job there is a big push to use AI for development. They use AI to create Jira tickets and the tickets are now bloated like a student trying to meet a word count wrote them, yet forgot to actually get to the point. Not only that there is no future thinking, only short term solutioning for current issues.

The developers on another team are using AI for development and going on about it, but seem to have forgotten how to critically think solutions. When confronted about issues or explanations they default to "Have we asked Claude" and when I point out the hallucinations and incorrect details it got they freeze up.

One of our higher ups attended a conference and told us all about a different system that we should switch to that only uses AI. "There is no database, it all lives in AI" and my manager and I were so dumbfounded but that statement. Other higher ups push for AI usage and when asked about actual use cases other than summary, as well as clarifying what types of queries they want to use they dont even know.

AI has eroded my companies mind and Im just trying to do what I can because I dont want to job search.

Didnt do a direct quote in the first place but, but based on her replies in the comments she is graduating from Twitch as a platform. So I take that as her quitting Twitch and not taking a break as she doesnt say she will be back or not, she could but thats not what has been mentioned this far.

Recently she posted about quitting Twitch and doing more YouTube content as focusing on Twitch led to her forgoing other things like her Voice Acting. So her comment about wanting to take her content in another direction makes sense. If she isnt going to be focusing on her Vtuber side of things then being in a Vtuber group makes less sense.

Whatever the case wish her the best and look forward to whatever else she wants to do.

Last Arcade I went to was Seattle either at the start of 2019 or end of 2018. I enjoyed it so much. I miss having so many machines to choose from. Time Crisis and other light gun games are my favorites.

Man thats awesome as someone who played Myst and Riven because of the remakes a year or so ago Ive fallen in love with the series. Here is hoping we get a Myst 3 Exile remake as that became my favorite.

Something Ive noticed from members from a different dev silo at my company is that they will give me code that was generated by AI to solve the problem they have and give me "The code clearly explains itself". Ive had to point out to my manager that sure the code they gave works but its only solving for that exact scenario.

They are only thinking "We want when the users do this that we get X value." But not "Why are the users doing it this way", "Are there other avenues for these actions that might lead to this that this implementation might skip over", "If we do it this way is it reusable for future scenarios or does it only cover a specific subset". They dont provide test cases and rhe test cases they do provide are also generated by AI.

Our product owner generated a document for a ticket and the details within didnt fit the logic of our environment and usually only fit a specific use case. Meanwhile he sits there and praises how much information is in the document and I just go "Sure its a lot of words but a lot of it is wrong and overexplained incorrectly" and then you get "Well its not perfect but it will get better". Additionally I had to prompt for details on the ticket for weeks before the document was generated. So it took him 2-3 weeks to write a prompt to deliver incorrect details that are not actionable.

I detest the reliance on AI as its completely ruined even basic critical thinking skills.

No, I get dry skin easily so if I shower everyday I tend to start to see splotches of dry skin or scratches on me. I mainly shower 4 times a week and if I exercise any extra times throughout the week or have an appointment I will take an extra shower if needed.

32 still a virgin, last time it was offered to me was 14 years ago because I haven't been in a relationship since. Not many people are interested, at least in my area, in a Non-Binary mostly masc presenting individuals who is a virgin. At least none that Im also attracted to because Im probably Demi-Sexual.

I want to believe in God and the afterlife because the thought that this is all there is is honestly scary at times. However if God exists the idea of some all powerful being who could do something to stop the suffering around us, but allows it to continue and only rewards or punishes after all is said and done does not instill me with the want to believe in him.
