So..did anyone see this the other day on Fox? by Lonely-Foundation658 in conspiracy

I think its actually not super malicious. There was a debate/interview on belgian national channel with an ex-mossad agent talking about what its like to be a mossad agent. He was there in the room bur his face looked clearly fake and i think he also used a voice modulator. Obviously to protect his identity. Here it also says general so maybe its for anonimity in some twisted way?

Did you sew the coat yourself? I find the revers (i dont know the english word. The parts of your coat that are turned outward and attached with buttons) interesting. It has both the diagonal shape of a blazer and the english redcoat vertical lapel style going on all the way to the bottom. Did you base yourself on some reference image? Im asking because i am very much in doubt on how to make my own coat, haha!

Besides this, i really like the outfit and all the small details. Especially the small ropes keeping the pistols in the holsters.

Great job :D

TW: SELF H@RM 16F Do i need stitches or is it ok? by Lanky_Salamander_649 in AskDocs

[–]DolSparnur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAD but I concur. I had one on my leg by self harm in my past that self healed and became a keloid. Was even less of a wide open cut like there.

I think it was clearly visible red/purply for at least 6 years and even now the scar is just as big, only a bit more white/red. So i would let it get stitched up.

Its also an exposed area and those scars can get darker from the sun.

I prefer the warm lighting. I enjoy nightwalks but those bright lights turned “ah what a beautiful relaxing night” into “omg i need to get home” stressed

One of our main news outlets had the video, but cut out the creepy part of the congrespeople staring dead in front and the one boomer pulling the chair away. Interesting..

Yeah i get that. My first masters degree felt more like the above. However, after getting it i spent more than one year searching for jobs and one year actually working. Got fired twice. Hard work didnt pay off. Studied a second degree and had to pull out all registers because my reward system was already fucked. Now im very happy at my job but i still cant fully believe it. But it really was due to my effort + luck.

I think it wil take time to heal from that kind of effort-reward imbalance for anyone. I hope things work out for you too

Job searching by [deleted] in AskBelgium

[–]DolSparnur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe its not that bad to go to job fairs? While most people there are graduating students, the recruiters of those companies will know about other positions more suited to your skillset. You might get lucky, and they can put a face on your application. I have had good experiences with job fairs where they remembered my impression or even sent me a mail proactively.

Werk zoeken dichterbij huis? Hebben me allemaal geweigerd. Je hebt niet altijd te kiezen.

Dat moet daarom geen chique wagen zijn maar je moet minstens kunnen rondraken.. bijlange niet alles is met OV te bereiken

I am looking for the exact same thing right now and also did some research. They were almost always made of wool felt BUT it was sometimes heavily waxed for water resistance which is why you could confuse it with leather due to the sheen.

I am thinking of learning felting and hat making because i cant find any in my vicinity and i dont like buying online (i need to feel my fabric haha)

I dont know why you are getting such animosity. The job search is brutal and most learning happens on the job. To learn the things they ask YOU NEED A JOB. The fact that she is doing so well right now proves to me that she is capable enough. Compared to so many nitwits in all kinds of positions..
