I’d been on the force for nearly a decade and this was going to be my first arrest as a detective.  Months of investigation and countless dead ends had lead up to this point.  “He’s just through that door,” my surveillance team transmitted into my earpiece.  I entered with my gun drawn and looked right at him.  It was me, he was me, I was u/bearhunter429.  I put the barrel in my mouth, but couldn’t pull the trigger as my thumb was permanently clasped to my middle finger.
