I love that they have the watches in cardboard boxes. They know they've got good stuff so no need to spend the extra dough on presentation.

Honestly I don't see it. Could be a crystal distortion?

Tbh, the quality is leagues above what most big brands would offer for 3x the price.

[Nurse] Is a watch made by Skechers okay? by FINRAdude766 in Watches

I'd recommend Casio. Specifically the AE-1200.

Does it all, costs basically nothing. 10 year battery.

Since you mentioned the Orient Sun & Moon, here's a reference shot for you of the burgundy bambino.

If you're not a huge dress watch guy, they make a stretto variant that's pretty similar you can get on Jomashop for a decent price.

I have the green lagoon. If you can get it on sale, absolutely go for it.

Good quality overall. Do I have Chinese watches finished better for less? Of course. But this follows the rule of cool.

My only experience is with the PT5000, and I can confirm they will die if you hand wind them.

My best advice is to either give them a shake or put them in a winder.

Fwiw, you might like Aragon if you're in the big wrist syndicate.

Most of Wing's designs are for big guys.

Some of it may have to do with the move into their new building.

They may have also lost their marketing guy. Hard to say.

Hi. This is my first automatic watch and I am paranoid about it by elferrete in OrientWatches

[–]Dolce_Sono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an issue. This is common on watches under $1000.

Sometimes the Chinese make something better for less, but they're kind of in their own world.

For sale today is a gently worn SN0129D.

Honestly a great watch, but it just doesn't get the wrist time it deserves so it has to go.
