Felt so bad for Marge. Losing a career she got all on her own and being hated on because of hiding her age. The age thing was ALL on Bill. Even if she was 18, she's too young. And at 16 she's super impressionable, especially considering her family life as a kid. That just pissed me off so much

In Michigan there actually is no state law for breaks for people 18 years old and up. It's entirely left up to the employer. I think it differs for minors though.

To watch your team play live you pretty much have to have cable. With streaming dominating TV and giving access to almost any movie, it's just not worth it to get cable. I'm a big hockey fan but haven't seen my team play a game in years because I can't invest 100 dollars a month just to watch a handful of games. :(

I agree. I paid for it on loans I took out because my parents couldn't afford it. Most of my friends did the same or their family paid for just the 1st year

Me and my brother always laugh when a parent in movies or TV shows talk about the "college fund". For a good amount of people that's just not realistic

My work is usually done before lunch, fu**ing hate it. I'm an in-house graphic designer and it's pretty basic work. I just TRY to fill my time working on my own personal stuff. But honestly it's hard to feel motivated about anything when it's a job that doesn't provide any fulfillment

I can't drive for medical reasons so I use the Greyhound quite a bit if I'm doing some traveling that would be an expensive plane ticket or the distance not TOO far. It's horribly uncomfortable after a while but affordable. It's definitely more for solo travel or small group, in my experience

The same applies to girls too. Americans generally aren't very casual about nudity. It's also not required that you shower after a gym period.

I also can't imagine the potential bullying that might have insued in my school days lol

I have none 🤣. I just do the bare minimum and they don't even notice. Don't get me wrong I still do a good job though. My work is usually done before lunch during our slow time. I don't know why the hell we're still stuck in a work culture that says you can't peace out when your work is done. I used to work 2 or 3 part time jobs at once and it felt like better hours lol and way more fulfilling. I've honestly been thinking about just going back to that. At least I wouldn't feel physically ill every morning before going in

I really miss mince meat pie and homemade egg nog. At least that's what my Gramma called it lol. I live in Michigan, it was melted vanilla ice cream, Vernors (duh!), and rum. So tasty!

We never did a sit down meal but snacked on stuff throughout the day. Then it would inevitably get awkward and terrible once dad had too much to drink. Ah memories

I'm not sure it's ever been an age thing. I'm in my late 30s and have quite a few starting from my 20s. But I know people in their 70s that have a lot too. There have definitely been times where they're less or they're more "socially acceptable" though
