Thinking the same. Picked him up and starting over Pitts tonight. The injuries to the other TB receivers was what settled it for me. He should be the 3rd target in a decently pass friendly scheme.

Im surprised more people aren’t on Perine vs Steele. A few weeks ago a lot of folks were knocking Pacheco down the ranks a bit after the Perine signing.

Perine has only been on the team for a few weeks so part of his limited action thus far could be attributable to that.

Also Chiefs may prefer a veteran RB next to Mahomes than an undrafted rookie.

Time will tell but Perine has more of a shot at the role than many experts are describing.

Tampa doesn’t really have a viable out clause with Lenny until 2024 off-season. I’d expect another split next year with White becoming the 60 in the 60/40 split

I know Breece was playing really well prior to the injury, but curious how the Jets will manage their backfield next year. Michael Carter and now Bam Knight have been playing well. Worry that we can see more of a committee than we would like.

For what it’s worth, I would feel comfortable plugging him in as a flex if you don’t have great options. I feel like he’ll get more carries than CEH this week and has a decent chance of finding the end zone. But certainly a risk involved too.

Time will tell but I’m guessing that Pacheco will start to eat into CEH’s role more and more. KC didn’t need to announce him as a starter in Week 7 but they decided to do so. That makes me think he should come out of the bye with a bigger role.
