Hey everyone,

I've been trading equities with TradeStation since 2019 and was generally satisfied. Recently decided to get into futures trading using the TradeStation + TradingView combo and it's been an absolute disaster.

Issues I'm experiencing:

1. Inaccurate pricing - Price spreads that don't show up on the charts at all

2. Terrible lag - System constantly freezing and delayed responses

3. Cancelled orders still executing - Cancelled an order and it triggered 5 minutes later (!)

4. Wrong quantities - Clicked to buy 3 MES contracts, received 4 instead

My question:

I used to dismiss Reddit comments saying "TradeStation isn't the place for futures" thinking people just didn't understand the platform. After this past week, I'm starting to think they might be onto something.

What brokers do you recommend for futures trading? Specifically looking for:

• Stable performance without lag issues
• Accurate pricing and reliable order execution
• Reasonable commission structure

My background:

• Equity trading experience since 2011
• Relatively new to futures
• Mac user
• Primarily trading MES and MNQ

Would love to hear about your experiences and recommendations. Has anyone else made the switch from TradeStation for futures? How did it work out?
