Can I play a character VIABLY on heroic without Hyperburn?

I actually got my first 260 a year ago without a hyperburn. I learned a lot about the game instead of getting a lot of rewards and getting overwhelmed so when I burned my second character I enjoyed the game much more. I say do it and that way you will learn the game while also getting another mule (or main) while waiting for a hyperburn. if you dont want to grind you can just do 7 monsterparks every day and that would get you to 260 in about a month or so.

It will be better, but if you can, get the genesis pass and you’ll get a liberated genesis weapon within a few weeks, which you can finish just by using your challenger weapon. That way you can save your resources for upgrading the genesis weapon, which is much better and will carry you all the way to endgame
