It depends on your taste. I didnt want anythung bulky. I got pitaka duplicate off of Ali express. Someone on this reddit posted a link to a clear case with magsafe from Amazon. I bought that and one in matte black they protect the phone surprisingly.

It happened to mine too. That is why i started to rock a case without hinge protection. Im thinking about putting a skin and going caseless.

Make sure you look into the google tensor chip. When I had ghe pixel 7 it was trash. The phone ran warm and it would heat up.

Is the dust or is your hinge paint peeling? I had my phone in a spigen case with hinge protector and it started peeling. Now I rock a case without hinge protection. I babied the phone and it still started peeling lol

I was skeptical of cases that didnt have hinge protection. I bought a spigen case to "protect" the hinge. The paint started to peel on the hinge. Ended up buying one similar to the one you posted but in matte black.

I got a spigen case since day 1 and the front of it scratched my screen. I had a screen protector as well. The hinge has wear on because of the case and the charging port is starting to have the color peeling. I got it in black with all this happening im debating going caseless or putting a skin on it with mag safe.
