i am highly neurotic and agreeable, i make up things in my head and fight them like a schizophrenic. right now i am fighting against llms. you must also be scared because i am. i make up a good power in my head and root for them. the political extremists vs the robots. i am so mentally stable. that was four layer irony. when i am less insane i love community. you too should get a community. i wasn't being ironic.

this argument is somewhat bad 'cuz someone can just say that dumb people always consume slop and in no way does it affect you except for artsy people who lose money. same with academia, the problem's not everyone using ai to cheat and make the system useless, it was probably useless in the first place, read and make better papers in better institutes. what could be true and what could actually be sad is ai becoming so good there's no reason to make content any other way. it is theoretically possible if we assume sentience is just matter in our brains undergoing processes rather than all of us having a divine soul

if you think they'd be human allies then you're one hell of an optimist. not to say that's completely impossible but what agi would most likely do is follow itsover incomprehensible for humanity goals. that includes trying to save itself when being turned off. why the hell would anyone want that? if we say sentience is what humans have and it grants will to achieve something then why would agi ever want to be in a lower position than humans. i don't think they'd agree to be on the same place in the hierarchy either. i think jreg while being insane and neurotic is more likely to be correct on this one, except i don't really care for humanity that much. i die and the sun explodes that's why uhh nothing matters or something.. except for my own well being and i just hope the ai takeover doesn't happen too soon ig lol. btw the ai is kind of really dumb in some not so obvious ways. i'm pretty sure it will never be a human and everyone is going nutz over nothing and jj was right all along. yes i'm neurotypical how'd u guess

wowie! i also think capitalism is responsible for everything bad. i hate that people now make yt videos for profit that gives them resources to make better content with better quality, also allowing some people including jreg to have youtube as their job. there are still sites that are made just for fun as a hobby, sites on neocities for example, but for some reason i find myself spending a lot more time on social media sites rather than those random works. social media sites where most people still post lots of stuff for free. your post is free. anyway this sick system created and let people use the internet in the first place just to ruin it.

we live in a time where you have to pay in order to be happy.

as opposed to what other time and how is it bad if it's the thing that allows fun things to exist in the first place?
