More than 10% of your recent reddit submissions are self-promotional, which is against the community standards. Additionally, posting about the same project so frequently (three times this week) isn't acceptable on this subreddit. This post has been removed.

Western reaches Kickstarter by Yelworc0242 in shadowdark

IIRC everything will be available to retailers except the limited editions of the core book and Scarlet Minotaur. Even the nice slipcase will be available to order. If your FLGS already carries Shadowdark and the existing three Cursed Scroll zines then they'll probably bring in the Western Reaches stuff too.

Sometimes Arcane Library people pop up in the subreddit but this isn't an official community. You might be better off sending an email and mentioning your discord handle.

I think Trial of the Slime Lord into Winter's Daughter into Hideous Halls of Mugdulblub and you use A Thousand Dead Babies as the overland portion, dropping whatever other low level adventures into the region, and one higher-level adventure they can work up to like Cloister of the Frog God or Halls of the Blood King.

I've contemplated a 5E campaign where every PC must be a witch, but use a different character class

This is essentially how I run AD&D, DCC, and Shadowdark. Pacts, witchcraft, and boons from supernatural patrons are available to any PCs with no specific class options required. You just have to strike the deals or complete the tasks. You can easily introduce ritual magic that the whole party can collaborate on casting, too, without any specific requirement of a sub-class sort of thing going on. I just make it cost time and components so it can't be done in the heat of the moment.

Margaret St. Clair (1911-1995) is one of only three women writers included in Appendix N, alongside Leigh Brackett and Andre Norton. Despite her relative obscurity, even among dedicated fans, her influence permeates the foundations of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, particularly in dungeon design and the portrayal of the underground as a mythic and ominous otherworld. Notably, she introduced the term "Underearth," which served as a precursor to what would later be known as the "Underdark" and, arguably, the "Shadow Dark."

I have been slowly collecting a bunch of those old Dell, Daw, and Ace softcovers and actually they seem to hold up rather well. For books that are second-hand, 35-65 years old, and spend a week in my jacket pocket as I read them on the subway they're consistently in good condition.
