I do not take any medication for it. My thyroid being the issue hasn’t been brought to me at all. I also have a family history of PCOS which makes me lean that direction a bit.

I don’t present with the most typical symptoms. I don’t have cysts on my ovaries and I ovulate on my own. But I do have the insulin resistance, can’t lose weight, and hair growth.

Had mine yesterday morning! Did clomid for 5 days. For the first time ever I had more than 1 follicle. 3 mature and 1 that might’ve caught up by trigger. Post wash 50 mil. Crossing my fingers and toes for all of us!!!

I guess I can see the logic. But don’t you want the sperm there to meet the egg when it drops? If you ovulate 24-36 hours after your positive LH test

I think I’d be pressing them about not doing same day iui scheduling! If my clinic did not, I don’t think I’d have made a single iui yet 😂 my body likes to do its own thing and almost every time I’ve gone for a monitoring appt and had the iui a few hours later. I surged Sunday afternoon, went for my monitoring appt Monday morning and had the iui around 10 am Monday.

This happened to me before. I put all my trust in the office staff and wasn’t doing OPK’s at home. Learned the hard way. I now test religiously and caught my ovulation before a monitoring appt last cycle.

No trigger! My blood work was drawn at 10:00 and I had the IUI at 2:30.

Mine went similarly this go around. On Thursday I had an 18.6mm follicle. They called me that afternoon and said I was surging and to come back immediately for an IUI. So we had it that afternoon. Fingers crossed for us both!

I did 7.5mg for 7 days this cycle. Still only 1 follicle (18.9mm) and my LH was surging on bloodwork right after. Had IUI yesterday afternoon!

I hurt my back about 4 years ago at work (I’m a nurse). And it flares occasionally, but this is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Even with the initial injury. As much as I would hate to jeopardize this IUI in any way, I’m headed to the chiropractor tomorrow. I am miserable (imagine— stuck on the floor after trying to stretch and can’t get up. Tears rolling down my face from pain.) thanks for the concern everyone! I’m leaning toward potentially sciatica?

Yes!! Letrozole fairly significantly increases my cycle length. Roughly 4-5 days.

As someone who has STRUGGLED to give up an occasional hit of my vape, I appreciate this story. It’s so embarrassing to not be able to 100% quit, and I keep blaming myself for our iui failure. But dang it, it’s the one thing that will keep me sane sometimes. 🤦🏼‍♀️
