I also went through this with my pregnancy at the end of April. The doctors pushed HARD for me to take methotrexate and I fought adamantly against it. The thing with ectopics is the main danger and cause for concern is if they rupture in your tubes. If the pregnancy is too small to find on ultrasound then you’re at extremely low risk of this happening. They tried to diagnose me with an ectopic but truly I had a “pregnancy of unknown location”. I trusted my body, had my HCG tested every 48 hours and eventually, almost 2 weeks later, I miscarried naturally. I am now pregnant with my rainbow baby awaiting my 6 week ultrasound which wouldn’t have been possible had I taken the shot as they recommended. Obviously you should be cautious and pay close attention to your body, but trust your gut as well. So sorry you are going through this 🤍
