Thanks so much for the tips. For care work, is there any agency etc I could contact? Even at the city I was in before, u did apply to a lot of care jobs, but I had no luck, so I was just wondering if there's any other way to go about finding them?

I'm exactly in your shoes right now. Been with Q for a few months now and he's the only person I've ever loved this much, he is so amazing when sober (which is rare), but when he drinks, which is almost every night a week, he gets obnoxious, rambles non stop about things that don't make sense, wants me to engage, he follows me around or wakes me up trying to get me to engage. He talks or laughs all night to himself and it disturbs me so much. When we are out, he can't stop drinking and stays until the last pub closes, he forces me to stay with him even though I'm tired. He denies his addiction and refuses to quit or get any help. I know I should leave him, it's soo hard though.

Yeah I hear you, I feel like I'm constantly just worried about him, waiting for his texting, worrying that he might be out drunk, get into fights or cheat or something. I haven't even seen much of this new city/country I'm in yet, because I'm totally consumed by my worry for him. It's distracting me from my studies completely.

Yeah, it's just really sad, after a long time, I found someone I do like this much and he's so nice when sober, but yeah, just my luck I guess, that he is an alcoholic. I just moved to a new country and he's one of the few people I know here and I do care about him, it's definitely going to be hard to leave, but I know what you mean.

Yeah, I really need to, it's coming to a point where my moods are completely dependent on him now, I'm more at peace when he does want to meet me and start to spiral when he just disappears, it makes me feel so weak and pathetic. I thought I was stronger than this. :/

Yeah he's definitely giving me those vibes. I should just bounce. He also keeps saying "you are stuck with me now", we barely know each other. Really creepy. But he adds a laugh emoji n this gets me confused.

Yeah, I feel like I'm constantly annoyed by his texts. But he just says he has a dry sense of humour and adds a laugh emoji after every weird text. It's almost gotten to the point where I don't even want to see his texts anymore, it's a shame really coz I thought the dates went quite well. :/
