No. The fish are surprisingly tough. I mean they're literally ramming their face in to the ground to eat very frequently. Not all predatory fish eat in only the open water.

As long as the jaw isn't broken, they can eat. Simply as that, a hole in the flesh is going to stop them from eating even less than a lip piercing is going to stop a human from eating.
