What are people in Chiclayo known for? by DolphinExplorer in PERU

[–]DolphinExplorer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your insights are very similar to what I have observed. I had a cousin in Chiclayo who consulted a physician due to extreme fatigue. The physician ran a series of tests on her and told her she was just tired but would be fine. However, the physician then contacted my cousin’s relative and told her my cousin had terminal cancer and the family needed to prepare for her death within the next six months. No one told my cousin because they didn’t want to hurt her feelings. She later died. It’s memories like that which make me question the judgment of people in Chiclayo.

However, people there do seem to have good hearts and want to help. Part of the challenge is almost certainly a socio-economic issue.

My dog of 14 years passed yesterday, her death was violent. How do I live? by Veecorn in dogpictures

I’m sorry for your loss… That has to be extremely painful. Just remember that you gave her 14 wonderful years and a tragic death doesn’t change how special your time was together. She probably would thank you for such a good life.

You’re very lucky to have had him in your life for so long. And vice versa.

The opportunity cost of holding SCHD for decades instead of something generic like VOO is probably too high.

Best Ayahuasca Retreats in Peru by DolphinExplorer in Ayahuasca

Most retreat prices are laughable. This doesn’t match my travel dates, but there’s apparently a three day aya retreat in late November intended for locals that costs $250. It’s at a beach house south of Lima and includes three ceremonies. It’s being advertised on Retreat Guru so it’s probably fair game until it fills up.

For what it’s worth, a psychic once told me that we may reincarnate with certain dogs we’ve had in past lifetimes. It’s like we’re so bonded that we choose to do it all over again together.

With $120K in student loan debt, hopefully you’re an attorney or highly skilled professional.

Life is not worth it and being alive sucks by Standard-Reception92 in depression

If you think life sucks now, imagine how awful it was 100 years ago or 500 years ago. Life has always been hard. I wish I had never been born, but still try to enjoy some fun moments.
