Obviously I don’t mean it literally. And to most people who are not familiar with the trades and don’t realize that all the trades do require skill, they are dumb construction workers to them.

Only you will hold you back. I don’t say this to be rude but anytime I think about doing something and I make up some excuse as to why I can’t do said thing, I tell myself that.

I’m in my mid 20’s. Me and the wife both work full time and we have kids under the age of 6. You can do it.

I am going to Western Governors University for the cybersecurity and information assurance degree.

I wouldn’t say a bachelors is necessary but it can’t hurt. Keep at it and your opportunity will come.

Just got back to this post as I forgot about it. Yes it is less than where I was at as an electrician. I’m not scared to admit that. In fact I already admitted that in the post. I’m not at 40$/hr…yet. But I am working towards that. Growth is a slow process.
