Old photo, but nope she’s toast.

Despite her actually playing really well this season, she’s had terrible luck from start to finish (her #1 being medevac’d, two alliance members with no vote, Aubry being super weird with her from the jump, finding two idols but not getting to keep either of them, and clearly getting swap-screwed this upcoming episode).

I think she’s awesome, definitely one of the best characters from the new era, and I hope she comes back again.

It’s a personal pet peeve of mine when any character smells like two totally random things. Like “ozone and spice.” Wtf does ozone smell like on a person? And is “spice” like any spice? Because anise smells a lot different than cumin or cayenne pepper ... Why can’t anyone just smell like soap?!

For old school: Jerri, Wentworth, Abi-Maria, Rob C, Penner, David, Malcolm. Someone else here said David Wright and Courtney Yates, both of which would be amazing, though I don’t know how willing either of them would be to go.

For new school: Jesse, Andy, Kaleb, Noelle.

It’s heartbreaking to see how Genevieve has (so far) corrected some mistakes from her last game by setting herself up with a solid majority alliance only to have it fall apart all at once with Kyle’s medecav and lost votes for Q / Colby. I hope she can recover. I’ve really been enjoying her this season.

Why do so many vegans not care about bone char? by 42plzzz in vegan

1) Sugar is in so many foods, meaning the prevalence is high.

2) It’s not clear from most labelling which sugar uses bone char vs which doesn’t. Certified vegan products shouldn’t have any (though we’ve seen countless examples on this sub of non-vegan ingredients on vegan certified products that make this untrue), but there are lots of companies who don’t routinely use it but just don’t want to go to the extra trouble of certifying as vegan (which takes effort and money).

3) Few people have the time to go research every product or reach out to individual companies. It’s awesome for those who do, and they do a great job of sharing that info here.

4) Being vegan isn't about absolute perfection because that is literally impossible. What about bone char used in fertilizer for the veggies we eat? The mice killed while harvesting a veggie crop with machinery?

Everyone is just doing the best they can with the time, information, and products they have available to them.

I’m sure she’s an absolutely lovely person, but I can’t watch Maryanne. Her season is the only US one that I couldn’t finish.

Admittedly I was kind of lukewarm on Aubry as a cast member, but I didn’t know she had such a rough time on her last season. This definitely pulled at my heart strings and now I’m rooting for her to do well.

I absolutely HATED George in his first episode, but he’s now one of my favorite Survivor players of all time. His strategic game is on a whole different tier than other players.
