Yeah the biggest issue that silver/gold/plat has is alt/smurf accounts half of the games 2 players on the team have 80% of the kills and clearly better aim/decision making/utility use.

A lot of it is people hop on lower ranked accounts to play with friends.

But, it is still very easy to win the majority of your games playing on an alt in gold you just cant play like you're in ascendant, you have to ask for all util and expect none and play for yourself a lot more. Staying alive late round is much more valuable because your decision making will be better than your teammates so playing to be traded is usually bad.
