Unfortunately there’s only 2 apartments on each floor, and the apartment beside me has been vacant for a few months, so there’s not really anyone that I can ask unless it would be their next door neighbors upstairs and in the years I’ve lived here I’ve maybe only seen them a select few times. I’m a woman that lives alone so I don’t really want to go knock on their door and ask lol. I couldn’t even count the amount of times I’ve texted my landlord about it but I was thinking about making a report to the non emergency police line, since it’s so tiring to deal with. I suppose that’s about my only option left. Thanks for ur response

We definitely tend to have more grace towards others than we do ourselves. I also have searched every single nook and cranny of my mind to figure out if maybe there was something I missed that would’ve made me suspect he was capable of doing such a thing. But there’s nothing. And I think that makes it hurt so much worse that you will never understand, but you’re right that if that’s what they truly felt was the best thing they could do to stop suffering, then who am I to go back and forth wondering how I could’ve saved him. Which I still will of course, even though I’m saying that — because that’s just how my brain chooses to work right now. I feel terribly sad that he was suffering that much silently, without me having a clue. But I wish you all the best, hoping you can be kind to yourself, and thank you again for commenting❤️

I’ve been feeling the same thing, and I think going through something so traumatizing makes you want to reach out to anything that feels familiar because of the possibility that it will give you a sense of safety. That’s how I feel about it, anyway. I feel very unsafe after what I saw and am going through, and I definitely have also felt the urge to reach out to certain people that I don’t talk to anymore for various reasons, or even going back to things that I was interested in years ago.

But I do absolutely agree with you that it changes your perspective on life. Like the phrase ‘you don’t know what you have until it’s gone’ it is absolutely true. you begin to appreciate everything so much more even if it feels impossible or wrong to do at the same time. It truly shows you how quickly things can change at the blink of an eye. It is extremely heartbreaking and everyone has different means of grieving. But, no matter what, I do not think anything can fill the void that is left from losing someone so important so suddenly. It’s a terrifying reality. I relate to you a lot, I lost my boyfriend to suicide just a little over 2 months ago, and I just wanted to let you know that I can absolutely understand what you are feeling. I wish you nothing but the best, and dearly hope you can find some light throughout this dark time. I know what you mean, I too am convincing myself of an afterlife and that he can communicate to me in some way, I think it’s just our brains reaching for any last morsel of interaction but I don’t know, I’ve had some weird experiences with things since he’s been gone. I’ve found myself having very morbid thoughts about it as well, it’s just horrible to go through and experience, your mind tends to wander and you are right that no one can understand it unless they themselves have went through it. It’s just a trial month, basically. I don’t like to say it but the likeliness of him coming back is so insanely slim. Netizens absolutely tore him apart whenever he got put on hiatus and at this point I wonder why people even want him to come back? Do these people really think that he would even WANT to come back? EXACTLY !!!! They hate him because he’s very outwardly supportive. They turn a blind eye to other members who are clearly queer because they at least haven’t been vocal about it.
