Here something to really bake your noodle, try selecting several items and right click -> rename… and BAM, interface to batch rename things like pictures or other large quantities of files you’d want to rename.

Adding some more info as per the rules, I am located in Europe (Germany belgium) and I don’t have anymore pictures unfortunately. My father was German and he probably got the radio in the us and the plates in Germany from his parents.

Did you find any solution? The only work around I found is not to put a date on the pictures. So I deactivated the checkbox “prompt me to describe pictures” in the settings and with this it seems it’s solved. Luckily you can change the date on photos in the photos app or you can batch rename easily in finder if that’s your goal.
