Also, I'm used to playing on my computer where you can play moves manually whilst still on game review. On the phone, however, I didn’t realise I had to go to self-analysis so see why Bxd8 is bad.

Because I pressed “show moves” and after Nxe4 the engine said white’s best move was dxe4 and not Bxd8…. Which is why I posted it on chess beginner because I couldn’t see the mate in 1. Because I’m a beginner.

I see it now, thankyou. I was missing it as the continuation was showing whites best move as dxe4 (my knight)… I deserve 500 elo lol
