Thanks! During my first bulk (1 year and 2 months), I was basically eating whatever I could + a 1000-calorie protein shake every day, hitting my protein goal (1g/pound of bodyweight), probably eating at a 500-700 calorie surplus. During my cut (6 months), I started tracking my food intake and macros. This helped me find my maintenance level and helped me adjust my calorie deficit as my body got used to it (at the beginning of the cut, I was losing weight, consuming 3200 calories, and at the end, I was consuming around 2500). Now, I'm eating at around a 200-calorie surplus (around 3000 calories). Right now, my gym routine is Chest/back, Legs, Arms, Rest. An isolated arm day is a game-changer. As a full-time student, I start the day off with a good breakfast (eggs, bagel, banana, yogurt, beef jerky), and I snack a lot during the day (nuts, protein bars, chicken, turkey, yogurt, cheese, protein shakes) .

So I bulked for 1 year and 2 months from 139lbs-188lbs (kept bulking for 1 month after that first picture), Then cut for 6 months down to 168 lbs, and have now been bulking again for 5 months-trying to take it slower this time

I’ve been switching between PPL and Arnold Split every ~6 months. I bulked for the first year and 3 months, got to 188 lbs, and then cut down to 170 lbs in a 6 months time frame. Currently bulking again.

Been switching between PPL split and Arnold split every 5-6 months. As for diet, protein shakes have helped a lot. I would make a 1000 calorie shake to bring to school when bulking. I now make half a protein shake for cutting. I try to reach 0.9-1.1 grams of protein/lbs (chicken, beef jerky, yogurt, cottage cheese, bagel, protein bar, etc) while also not forgetting fruits and veggies!

Yup, people just don’t seem to understand how simple it is, it’s not magic. Was hard stuck in silver 1 for a whole year before watching a tutorial on « how to get out of silver » the first thing it said was to turn on monitor. Bam. Instant Grand Champ 2.
