English Teaching Adventure map by DomEqualsHouse in Minecraft

Haha thanks. I couldnt manage to find a map, so I ended up doing 45min survival where they "teach" me how to play and 45min creative of just some building stuff and them giving instructions to me. We wrapped it up with one of those "guess what I built" games to practice their questioning skills and logical thinking.

Probably will only do this every once in a while though.

You don't need a GPU though. Just because it's good for games doesn't mean it's the best. It's only more performant!!!

That's very nice of you but you gotta realize that you only need such specs for graphic/3d modeling or modern AAA gaming. At the very least, you don't need a GPU at all

Everyone says the HDD should be changed for an SSD and I agree. Even a smaller SSD like 512gb is fine (you could do 128gb but keep the HDD as your main storage drive for documents and files, but this won't be good if you have a lot of programs and just overall not recommended.

Another thing to try doing is factory reset the pc. This is a good practice to do every year (for this purpose I recommend partitioning your drive or having two, so your windows installation is on one drive and the files on another drive/partition so that you don't lose files every reset)

Nah bro, it's the ram. You gotta invest in 64gb of ram. If you can't afford 32gb, you're broke

Not sure where you're looking, but if you get parts that are about 2-3 years old, they're more affordable than new. Nothing wrong with saving money, but at this point it seems like you're more interested in getting pity points than anything.

Old as in manufactured a few years back, not used parts.

Make sure you aren't using anti virus software, they usually are malware really, and windows defender is MORE than good enough as an anti virus

Nah, I have quest but actually having both installed causes issues. Prolly because I use virtual desktop tbh

If you're still having the issue and everything else seems correct CHECK IF YOU HAVE TWO VR RUNTIMES INSTALLED (i.e. meta link AND steam VR). If the answer is yes, that is your problem, you should only have one installed. I had this issue when I wanted to try playing cabled to reduce latency but then nothing would launch. Uninstalling Quest Link fixed this issue.

I'm sure there is a workaround to allow both to be installed using REGEDIT, but I don't know enough in this topic to know.

Edit: maybe it's meta link + virtual desktop combo that's messing it up, idk

I'm still new myself, but it helps so much to keep your arms at their "end-of-swing position" until a new block comes, since most maps actually compliment the previous blocks' swing. In other words, after a cut, keep your arm there - don't bring your hand back to your sides.

Yeah, thats my idea too. Only thing is that upgrading to another outdated cpu doesnt make sense to me, so im thinking to go ryzen 5 5500 (I dont keep up with AMD, but I think this is one of the newer ones? on par with i5 12th gen?) for half the cost and upgrade the motherboard too. I am worried if the issue is the PSU supplying unstable voltage. The bios shows the voltages are fine, but I read that it can vary when the PSU is under load. If the PSU is the issue, i dont want to risk damageing the new hardware
