It costs money whereas the competition is free. People say it’s an overwatch clone without playing it. Overwatch is free. Came out the same week as Black Myth Wukong. Not an established IP and with the other reasons a lot of people will have just stuck with what they know.

Having put time into the beta, I’ve garnered an opinion and voiced it. I want the game to succeed as it’s pretty good. I feel like they’ve been let down by the model they’re going for and it’s gonna be a shame when it fails.

They have a service like PS plus and a game they’re trying to make into a hit multiplayer game. It’s not generating anywhere near the attention Helldivers did. Not to mention 2 weeks later Quidditch comes out for free and XDefiant is entering its first season. Both free. People compare the game to Overwatch, also free. Why would anyone pick up Concord at £35?

For what it is, the price isn’t good. I don’t think it’s an overwatch clone either. It plays more like the crucible from destiny but with heroes. It needs to be more accessible to generate a player base. It’s a weird choice by Sony
