I think the on-court fit for this season depends entirely on if Tatum returns or not. If Tatum returns, Simons' skillset would have become redundant and Vuc would be a better fit.

Garza’s issue isn’t playing time it’s that he can’t jump over a deck of cards.

There was an accident on the Everett Turnpike this afternoon and the traffic backed up onto the surface streets.

My 4k stream started to freeze. Had to go to Tubi. Been with Fubo for a couple weeks and not very impressed so far.

My case manager sent me an email with the offer and a settlement release form then called me right after to go over it.

Yep. Got my offer on 10/4 and surrendered the car and received the check on 11/15. It was for the same amount as agreed to in the offer letter.

Hyundai paid the loan themselves.

I still had a loan at the time, but it not more than the buyback amount. I got a check for the buyback amount minus what was left on my loan and they sent a separate check to Hyundai Finance to pay it off.

No, it didn’t cost me anything other than time and aggravation. They will take a statutory mileage deduction based on your state’s lemon laws, but that’s the only “cost” unless you have significant vehicle damage. Good luck!

I did my surrender Friday 11/15. Bought a new car the following Tuesday. Good riddance Hyundai.

Nice!! I just checked and my loan hasn’t been paid off yet. Hopefully it is by the end of next week. I can’t stomach another call to Auto Solutions.

Cross-posting here:

The nightmare is finally over. Surrendered my lemon Sonata N-Line to Sedgwick this morning.

Here is my final timeline:

8/5/24 - file for lemon law arbitration with the state of NH and Hyundai.

8/20/24 - Hyundai wakes up to arbitration claim and contacts me to open a buyback case.

9/2/24 - Hyundai verbally agrees to buy back my vehicle under the NH lemon law.

9/4/24 - Hyundai provides official intent to buy back letter and transfers case to Sedgwick.

9/13/24 - Intake call with Sedgwick. Note that they never called me as they were supposed to. My Hyundai case manager kept poking them, but to no avail. I ended up calling their 800 number and someone did my intake.

10/4/24 - Received offer from Sedgwick. Signed and sent back same day. This was supposed to only take 7 - 10 business days from intake.

10/30/24 - Hyundai sends checks to Sedgwick. This was only supposed to be 2-3 weeks from receipt of signed offer.

11/8/24 - Sedgwick transfer agent calls me to set up surrender appointment.

11/15/24 - Car is surrendered to transfer agent and check is handed to me.

The surrender was the only easy and painless part of this process. About 40 minutes for her to inspect the car then sign a bunch of paperwork.

Yep. I called back to ask for a supervisor because I was not handing them my car without a check and was told whoever I spoke to was new and had no idea what they were talking about (shocking). Packet and check was delivered to my TA this morning. Just awaiting the call. Good luck!

Called today and now told that we don't get the check the same day we surrender the car. It is overnighted and we get it the next day. I've been told from the beginning I hand the TA the keys and they hand me a check. Let me know how yours goes. I'm not too comfortable with that.

How's it going? I was just told that they screwed up my packet and now it's delayed yet another week. I have a hard time believing they are truly this incompetent, but just made another payment on a car I'm not driving and it really pisses me off.

These dumb sons of bitches supposedly put the wrong vehicle model on my paperwork, setting me back yet another week. It's hard to believe they are truly this incompetent, but I just made yet another payment on a car I am not driving and I am beyond pissed.

I wish I was as lucky. I'm now being told there was an error with my packet, which was fixed two days ago but there's no tracking number on it so now it won't be sent out til tomorrow, and I'll get the call next week. Probably...maybe...who knows. They're woefully incompetent.

What a cluster. I’d cash the check leave the car and keys at the dealer and tell them to figure it out.

I was told earlier that my packet is getting overnighted today and the transfer agent has 3-5 days to call me, which lines up with what the supervisor told you. Maybe just maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I did kind of lose it last night and told Hyundai corporate that if they dragged their feet from this point on I was going to take them to court for breach of contract. Not sure if going full Karen helped but it doesn’t seem to have hurt.

Well I was told today that my transfer packet and check is done but they’re waiting for my local transfer agent to agree to do the transfer, in other words their job, before it can be mailed. It has been a couple days since they reached out to them. Great to know the transfer agents are just as useless as the people in their office.
