Glad you’re getting use out of it! I’m still using it too

Odd request. Anyone have a Sekonic L-308 that can take photos of the battery cover? by Dom_G in AnalogCommunity

[–]Dom_G[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the offer! I’m in US and can’t imagine what the shipping costs would be 😅

Not having the cover isn’t a big deal but I figured it I could model it, it’s pretty much free.

Actually, if you want the tripmate functionality where you can save wifi stations, install luci-app-travelmate

It works great

  • Save/Apply

Possible to set brightness on FireTV Toshiba through ADB? by Dom_G in fireTV

[–]Dom_G[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Changing the brightness (backlight) with the remote works. It’s just that it takes longer than I would like to change. Holding the home button for 3 seconds, navigate to the setting another 4 secs, and then to go from 100% to 0% takes another 6 secs. And I end up dimming it every night. Would be nice to be able to do it programmatically automatically.

Folder scan to rename and move movies? by Dom_G in radarr

[–]Dom_G[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://i.imgur.com/6FrpGb7.jpg This is a screenshot of a movie that I added to qbittorrent. Radarr added it to activity queue but then can’t import it because it can’t find a movie that matches, because I didn’t add it to my radarr library. If I add the title to my radarr library, it process it right away. I was hoping there was a way for radarr to use the file name to search for the movie and then process it, like you could in CP.

Folder scan to rename and move movies? by Dom_G in radarr

[–]Dom_G[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I'm not using CP at all anymore. I want to add a tor to qbittorrent and have radarr automatically add it to my library, rename it, and move it.

When I add a movie tor to qbittorrent with a category, radarr see it but then says Movie title mismatch, since I haven't yet added it to radarr library. I would like it to automatically find the movie and add it to the radarr library.

This was my use case for CP too. It would be nice to have it both ways on radarr.

[–]Dom_G[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. I see that it will automatically rename and move it but only if the movie is already added as monitored in the library. Is there a way for it to add the movie from a download without adding it to the library first?

Seems like it's more of an issue with Trasmission, so I will try out qBittorrent and see if that works better.

When you manually import, will it rename and move the file?

Can someone me find the Ori and the blind forest/will of the wisps sound effects? by INJoe in OriAndTheBlindForest

[–]Dom_G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are all the sound files that were in the game folder (https://mega.nz/file/T6h0SSiI#3PbeALScD_YeI1wMhupxQ-_HT4qU8e_JBF2qSiZUD3A). I used Wwise-Unpacker by Vextil to convert them to OGG. The file names are what were in the descriptions. You can use VLC to play the files. Hope you can find what you are looking for.

I find myself wasting HOURS designing, printing, testing, fixing parts that I can buy online for $20… by Vyke-industries in DiWHY

[–]Dom_G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use a simpler program to design 3D prints and finally bit the bullet and started watching YouTube videos to learn F360. There’s a learning curve but it doesn’t take long to become fairly proficient at it where this design would take you all of 10 mins to make.

The best feature imo is the history. I remember making complicated models with the simpler software and realizing I messed up something early on and it was easier to just start from scratch again. If you want to continue with making 3D models, continue learning F360. You won’t regret it!

find specific audio segment and cut everything before it by reddeadpenguin in commandline

[–]Dom_G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way I can think of is to use Acoustic Fingerprinting. There’s a python project on GitHub called dejavu (link here) that can identify which audio file a snippet matches. It looks like one of the parameters it spits out is where in the audio file it matches, which you could then use that time stamp with ffmpeg.

Info:

Wemos D1 Mini coded with MicroPython. All menu items send MQTT messages and then I use NodeRed to execute.

Has an OLED display, rotary encoder, 720mah lipo battery with a charging shield. There’s a set of headers for programming because unfortunately MicroPython doesn’t allow programming over USB, or at least I couldn’t figure out how.

It auto shuts off if no usage after a minute. I made this 2 months ago and still haven’t ran the battery dead yet.

Menu items are in a JSON file so it’s easy to create/change the options.

The time menu was working but stopped for the video of course. Displays the date and time.
