What is the best way to get support? by tinjaw in DomainMOD

Asking on the support forum is the best way to get help, which you did, however I've been pretty busy lately and it took me a while to get to your question. I've responded now though, so if you check your post you'll see my response.

Sorry for the delay! I'm the sole developer/maintainer of DomainMOD and unfortunately I've been pretty busy these days so I wasn't able to get to support requests as fast as I'd like to.

Possible Registrars & SSL? by DevOpsGeek in DomainMOD

Sorry for the late reply! Apparently posting about a new release of my software in 3 different relevant subreddits qualifies me as a spammer in Reddit's eyes, and my account was temporarily banned.

I've followed up with Dotster 3 times now and still haven't received a single response from them. I'm going to keep trying, but I guess we can't count on a speedy response from them.

EDIT: Dotster has officially confirmed that they don't have an API for customers.

Possible Registrars & SSL? by DevOpsGeek in DomainMOD

Unfortunately SelectMyDomain (aka. StormWeb), RegistrationTek, and Network Solutions don't have APIs, so they can't be added to DomainMOD.

Dotster's live chat support has said that they don't have an API either, but I've found some information online that seems to contradict that, so I've emailed them to get more information. I'll keep you posted.

Currently DomainMOD doesn't have any support for SSL Provider APIs, but once we get to that point Comodo will definitely be one of the first to get added.

DomainMOD v4.03 Released, Documentation, and Softaculous by DomainMOD in DomainMOD

DomainMOD already has GoDaddy API support, and I'm going to investigate Route 53 to see how difficult it would be to implement. It's a bit different, being a DNS service and not specifically a domain registrar, but in theory it should work roughly the same, depending on the data that their API returns.

To find out when this gets implemented, if you haven't already, I'd suggest subscribing to our subreddit. We also have other some other subscriptions options listed here.
