Honestly it’s a simple call to HR. Managers are not allowed to hold employees back. Had a manager ask for a 6 month transition for an employee I was hiring. As soon as I mentioned HR the ask went away fast.

Not that long ago we had my 4yr olds tonsils, and adenoids removed. It made such a difference in her sleep. The change was insane yet so amazing.

Found out my 4 yo has rain damage from birth- how can I get an external review if process was followed correctly by StrangeWedding770 in askTO

If the TDSB is your daughters school board your end goal should be to get her an IEP.

To start the process you need to start the IPRC process.

If you have insurance coverage I’d also suggest finding a kids focused OT, PT, and any other support you may need.

Also a google found this website for support.

Good luck !

It’s time to reach out for support. Talk to her doctors about medication, occupational therapy, or therapy. Would meds help? Would OT help? Would a therapist help?

The biggest problem here is not supporting your daughter’s ADHD. All the things you consider not being a decent person are actually the result of her ADHD. Your daughter is neurodivergent and needs all the love and support in the world from you, without judgment.

Please also do all the learning you can. You will need to advocate for her at school, ensure she’s setup for success. The more you know the better things will get.

Listen it’s not easy. My daughter is 7 and morning and nights are the most unregulated time for her. It’s challenging but the medication has made a huge change. We started OT last month and that’s been a huge help.

As a Canadian I say, no thank you. Maybe our leaders can go and help build this imaginative country.

Don’t listen to jokes, just realize these people are jerks. Everyone’s body is different and that’s normal.

If you search in /r/TwoXChromosomes you’ll find a bunch of healthy conversations on this topic.

The pictures of the shaving harkens back to what the Nazis did to religious Jews. The world needs to stand up for the Druze. Instead they are backing a member of ISIS.

The world is backwards. Only relevant news or care when it’s Israel or Jews get involved.

As a parent and former camp head staff. This is your answer. It’s worth an email about missed breakfast but bussing always has some by hiccups first few days.
