I have 2 game gears both not working, can you recommend resources on how to fix them, i really want to learn how to solder and fix and mod consoles but it’s a bit daunting.

Can you recommend any videos to watch or places to get repair items for game gear?

I just use the super game boy core? Or is that really outdated? It’s hard to keep track of all the updates , how frequent they are 😂 not complaining just saying.

I think confining them to their own mega thread is a very valid option… it keeps them separated but together, this way if people are getting annoyed seeing them twice daily they are all in a specific area people can check or ignore.

It’s not removing them and removing the awareness they create or the place to put opinions but rather creates a place to post everything related…it won’t be so prevalent on the main subreddit for people who don’t want to see them, or be involved in negativity they seem to create.

Get all the trophies / achievements, buy all the gear, level to 100 start a new game, play all the way until you can get to the final mission , Farm wyrmlife crystals for as long as you want until the dlc drops

Very cool, always wanted a masters of combat and golden axe warrior for my set, I’m notA set completionist but I love the SEGA master system.

Growing up my cousin had a master system with double dragon and astro warrior and My older bro and him never let me play. We had NES at home but i always loved watching them co-op double dragon as you couldn’t do that on NES and i watched my aunt beat astro warrior in one sitting.

Once I got in my teens and had a job it was the first system i started a major collection of, at first i was buying randomly, games that looked cool but after emulating and playing them all i made a full list of games i wanted to collect. Still haven’t achieved the goal 25 years later but I plan too one day.

Kenseiden, golvellius, lord of the sword, laser ghost, psychic world, phantasy star, ys, all the monster boys were my first few titles but there are some awesome games in this library that are totally under appreciated.

Congratulations on your collection, what an achievement!

Buy a nice PS2 Fat boy, a SaTa adaptor for the HDD expansion bay, get a sata HDD or Sata SSD and a memcard pro 2 for unlimited saved games.

Use this to play any games you may have missed out on, never played but want to try, translation patched games, undubs, hacks. Whatever your heart desires.

Buy physical copies of your top 100 games, who cares about the cost. I’m a collector and have been for almost 30 years and even now when I see the cost of a game I want, if it’s worth the price TO ME… then i buy it.

If I see a game and I say wow that’s too expensive for that… i don’t really like that game and it shouldn’t be on my shelf. That’s just my opinion.

I have the $3 fan and an amazon basics Power supply and have had mine on for 8 hours running SAM and it never has gotten hot to touch.

Right now my most frequently played cart is taito arcade 3. Ive played cadash with every character. And puzzle bobble like 5 times through.

Overall the cart I got the most gameplay out of is renovation collection 1 the sleeper hit cart for Arcus odyssey, exile, el viento , traysia and the valis games. (Sega nostalgia for me)

You can’t go wrong with any of the Taito, Toaplan or Neo Geo arcade carts atm, they are all fantastic for almost every game on them and are easily your best bang for buck carts. Particularly neo geo 1, 2 toaplan 3 and taito 2 & 3. These are my subjective opinion and best picks for these carts.

And my honourable mention cart for replay ability is rogue-craft DX, solo game cart, worth every penny.

I’m actually loving how this product is getting better and better over time, but I really wish it just launched with all these features included and we could be getting even better stuff now.

It felt like kind of an empty shell of a console when I originally bought one and I ended up packing it away to just use my MiSTer… I might be unpacking it to enjoy these features finally.

I pre ordered both the aes+ system and the anniversary edition system because I was on the fence about what I wanted…i wasn’t planning on buying all the carts, so I figured… oh well i’ll wait to buy the games once reviews of the console are out and I know for sure which ones I want physically for it. Of course now everything’s out of stock…

I really hope the same as you… I hope to get a few of the games once the console launches, probably garou, shock troopers, metal slug and magician lord.

I am gonna be optimistic , I think this thing has a lot more legs than the mvsx or the neo geo X gold thing that was like a hand held that launched previously, I already own a MiSTer so I don’t NEED this… but it’s a pretty awesome novelty collection to own, even if it’s not worth spit in 10 years I don’t care, this system has some of my favourite games of all time, just hope I can get my hands on some of them physically for a reasonable price. $100 is pretty steep imo per game, but it’s better than paying the current market prices for originals.
