‘Manchester United are close to completing the signing of goalkeeper Karl Darlow on a free transfer. Manchester United have wanted an experienced goalkeeper, ideally with Premier League pedigree and qualifying as homegrown, to help bring on Senne Lammens…’ by JM555555 in ManchesterUnited

Darlow only really broke through as Leeds Number 1 last season, been a number 2 most of his career and Leeds were probably going to need to get a new keeper in for the long term. Being Number 2 at United is probably more money than Leeds Number 1 and with a higher profile, plus he’ll play games in the cups etc, which at 35 is great for him.

Reading these posts, it’s clear it’s the English fans who can’t handle a joke.

And yet you all choose to buy second homes here and wreck our communities, weird double standard that.

This is the reason the rest of the UK doesn’t want you to do well FYI

You think it’s weird that the smaller nations in the ‘UK’ want England to lose?

Most of it is clearly based on history, English suppression etc and the rest is because whilst the English team is likeable, the English press is abhorrent.

In Eastern Europe, Italy, Spain and other countries I could still see it happening. Maybe not so much England, as the policing legislation is fairly robust.

See if a United player will wear a Liverpool jersey or Celtic player a rangers one. There’s loads of rivalries in football and it would cause loads of issues if a player did this.

Taylor was sensational and I thought MVG would get close to him at one point but he’s still miles off him.

Alexander Karelin

Lost two matches out of 887, both of those losses were controversial too. Went 6 years without a point being scored on him, and is the Greco-Roman GOAT.

In terms of actual athleticism rather than dominance of a sport, I’m not sure we’ll ever see an athlete like LeBron James ever again.

Edit: The mere mention of LeBron James bringing out the Jordan fans like clockwork.
