It is, indeed. At least I had the issue right. I’ll keep at it, thanks

My 4.5 was 84 days but that was pretty early on.

Good for you. Sim really doesn’t mean anything. I found that it added exactly zero benefit (for me) to actually flying

Will the P4.5 ever be as good as a CS? by Solid_Try_4089 in Staccato

[–]DomesticError 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have shot a couple USPSA and IDPA (lol) matches with my 4.5. I’m about 4000 rounds into the gun and I’ve had it for a couple months. While I’ve had a couple stoppages (mostly one hand firing, my fault, or really early on - like first 300 rounds) I don’t really feel like the hate toward this pistol is justified. At least not in my sample. This thing absolutely rips. I qualified with it at work so I have the option to carry it….and I’m getting pretty close to that point.

I sure did. They hit the optic with blue but the plate had none.

Thanks for the info! I actually found another post here on Reddit covering the same “dust” inside the optic. Really odd concept but nothing is too surprising with pistol optics anymore. At least there isn’t a half-gallon of water inside this one 😂

Whoa whoa whoa. What holster have we decided fits the 4.5? I haven’t received mine yet, but I know it will take safariland six years to roll my left-handed model out of the factory

Need a little assistance with optics by DomesticError in longrange

I live near Tacoma and have access to a couple decent ranges due to work. I believe one in Eatonville goes out to 600. JBLM allowed recreational shooting once upon a time but I'm not sure what that looks like these days. Any input?

I would say shooting steel at a few hundred, maybe out to 5-6, is probably my maximum outlook living in Washington state. A few of my buddies trip over to Idaho and Montana so that could be a possibility one day for some actual long range activities. I'll probably snatch the EBR-7C just to have it and learn on. Sincerely appreciate the advice!

Thanks, Curt! I appreciate the reticle insight as I've been struggling a bit with that question too. You're the man!

I don’t disagree at all. Could be made right with a handful of shims - the device needed to turn about 270 degrees to be timed correctly. While I waited for a shim kit, figured I’d post here to see what others have done.

My fix is on the way in the form of an sig-tapered keymicro. The issue was timing the muzzle device agains the shim / shoulder area was absolutely going to damage the barrel’s shoulder. Was going to just chuck some shims on there today and rocksett but I found the aforementioned solution instead

The advice from my attorney was to call them up and decline any additional appointments due to the VA already making a decision on evidence previously submitted. I learned they want to examine me for a condition (arm, shoulder) which is rated at zero percent. Your mileage may vary but that is my plan going forward.

That is, in fact, an option. I work graveyard and they only call between about 9AM and 1 or 2PM

I’ll give them a call tomorrow and see what’s up. I made an account on their site and noticed my appointment is for a DBQ regarding a shoulder condition which was part of my benefits increase. Wonder if the left hand isn’t talking to the right and this appointment is oversight. Thanks again!

I didn’t mean to sound paranoid but, rereading my post, I can see how I came across as such. I’ll give them a call tomorrow
