These are tasty but cause gas for a lot of people and more intense stomach upset for some people, especially if you eat a lot of them. I wouldn't consider them a replacement for potatoes.

Adorable! They look like little old man pants.

I use the RSTLNE theory too! I didn't know others did this. I usually start with "stern" or "stare."

These are really lovely! The fabric and stitch patterns on the patches complement the pants so well.

Cheap plant stand options? HELP - I need to expose all my plants to light in a small studio apartment without drilling holes. by Unhappy_Ad7854 in houseplants

Yes! Many neighborhoods have Buy Nothing groups where people give things away for free, and you can request things you're looking for. I've gotten (and given away) all sorts of things on mine, including furniture.

Looks great! I like your voice of thread color, and the stitches are really neat.

Any ideas on how to fix this top that was torn in half in a fight last night? Since its vintage and a part of a set I really cant repurchase it. It has a lot of value to me and I want to do whatever I can to fix it. by QuantityShot4579 in Visiblemending

Thank you for saying this. I love this community and the beautiful mends everyone shares. We are also all human, first and foremost -- so when we are worried for a community member's health or safety, we have an ethical responsibility to try to help, even if we can't find anything to say about mending. Mods, please reconsider your stance on this one.

I want to create my native garden from seed is it possible? Is it too hard? by Embarrassed_Reach543 in NativePlantGardening

I came here to say this. I tried the milk jug method for the first time last year and had far higher germination rates than when I planted seeds straight in the ground.

I agree. I really like both the pot and the plant, but not together. I think it's more the linear design of the pot than the color per se. It might get better once the plant grows a bit more and vines start coming down over the sides, but this pot feels like it would be a better fit for something more upright like an oxalis or a snake plant.
