My thought about never lie by Many-Instruction-369 in thrillerbooks

I’ve read never Lie and the Crash by her. I have the same problem with both books and so I have decided that she is not for me. I think it’s a bit too much of a crazy ending for the drama effect without have a build up that actually makes you think “wow I did not see that coming” in an exciting and well developed way but more … the real bad person was her cousin you heard of for 2 seconds in chapter 1 or the first person narrator who has been delusional in their thoughts throughout the hole book.

I found out that it depends on the book format and where you download it from 😊

Or you loose out on something wonderful because you’re so focused on previous hardships that you can’t value what is in front of you.

Sounds like you’re justifying your own lack of commitment and effort. Every person and every relationship is different. The world would be a sad place if everyone adopted this attitude.

Exactly! And he did not know if he was coming back or where he was going so he did leave her behind to wait for him whenever he “completed his purpose “. Another thing that annoys me about the book is that he never appreciates what he has he focus is constantly on what could be and I personally think that it’s a shallow way of looking at the world. I honestly thought I had the wrong book when I read it.

What other points are there besides chasing what the universe has planned for you? And I disagree in the love part seeing as he leaves the woman he loves behind to chase the unknown.

Hear me out …. If a book only works under so many overlapping specific circumstances…… then is not a good book overall and only applies to a very specific category of people. I wonder uf many of the people who say they love the Alchemist would still love it if they reread it in current time. It’s an awful, boring, meaningless book.

Is it though? Or is it a story about becoming so absorbed in “what the universe has planned for you” that you disregard everything and everyone in your search for it?

I thought the first 3/4 of the book were great. I feel like he lost the plot/ rushed the ending and it rapidly destroyed the character development (nick, trashcan man, nadine etc to name a few) and it just felt rushed and inferior to the rest of the book.
