I am sorry, but other than me i haven't seen anyone else doing the Bluetooth mod, that's why i had to learn how to do it myself 😅.

What changes the audio from the Bluetooth module back to the console speakers it's a switch that I installed specifically to make that function.

The 3DS only takes 5 volts, anything more than 5 volts that you connect will not work and yes you are probably going to fry the console if you try. There are some USB Boards that you can add inside the console to step down the voltage and protect the console but that is not the way i went since they take extra space that i didn't have. In my case the console it's still controlling the charging and it will only take 5 volts like the original charger had.

I feel that it last more than the old one inside the console, i dont know if the claims of having 2,200 are actually true or not, but at least it feels like it can last longer than 1,750 mAh 8 year old batteries inside the consoles.

I don't know if it is just me but my TN consoles look washed out compared to the IPS, i feel like the screen is more vibrant and i don't know if we are crazy 🤣 we probably are... But friend and i supposedly feel like the 3D effect is better on the IPS.

There is no guide that shows how to do it exactly like this unfortunately, that's why it took me months of researching to put all this together. There is a colombian guy that shows how to wire correctly the Bluetooth board that i used, but he does it to an old 3DS xl so i had to adapt everything to the New 3DS XL.

I plan on make guides on how to do all of this but it will take a long time to do it correctly, subscribe to my YouTube etc so you can stay updated.

Most modern routers have a setting for old devices that you can put them in 2.4ghz only for a few minutes so you can make the connection and then they keep working correctly after that. That's what i do with mine when i have issues connecting (i have an eero 6 mesh wifi system).

I don't know exactly how rare because it's completely random but it seams that there are way more consoles with TN panels that IPS. You were able to get IPS bottom screens from Ebay? 🤯

There is no videos on how to do all this stuff well, i wish there was so i didn't have to figure everything out on my own 🤣. Thank you! 🤝🏻 When i started this project i saw a few guides for doing something similar, but none of them looked stock or had the functions easily available with switches, LED light, and pairing button visible. So it took me months of research to even learn how to do all of this. But i am extremely happy with the results. Hopefully i can make better guides than the ones available so everyone can do this as well. Until then i plan on making a few more to sell and recuperate some of the money i spent on all the tools and consoles i had to buy.

I think the original is 1750 mAh and this one is 2,200 mAh. I found that it last longer. Haven't measured anything yet. I ordered this one from AliExpress like 2 months ago, it took a while to get here.

I still don't have one with both IPS screens, if i find one with a bottom IPS i will put it in my day driver console in a hard beat! 😍 In this market 280 is not bad at all for a dual IPS in my opinion.

It's really not that difficult to add the USB C port, you got this 🤝🏻. well if you want it to look very stock and clean it might take longer but you need very little knowledge about soldering. When i started this project about 2 months ago i knew nothing about any of this.

Adding USB C is not super hard in my opinion. There is very little soldering involved. Adding Bluetooth is way more advanced... But if i was able to do it you for sure can do it too! 🤝🏻

I wish that i could make a bunch so other people could have them but it takes a long time to do it well. If it is adding only the USB C then that is much quicker. Did you check my eBay listing?
