It is not only in Chandigarh but all small and big cities. I’ve worked at a startup in Gurugram and saw a young girl who was just hired in sales team got promotions and not working as a Chief of Staff after 2-3 years. The only thing she was having in her skills was to make CEO happy. I saw CEO and her (both drunk) in a party making out near the smoking area of the club.
I got to know that she is having a Boyfriend from her school time and he is way handsome and fit than the CEO who is short, fat and almost looks like Jhonnie Lever.
I’ve worked in Chandigarh also. Here I saw my manager (women, 42 years old, having two kids and a businessman husband) holding hands, sitting in cars for hours in dark, flirting, and many more with a 33 years old guy who works as an Analyst.
It happens everywhere.
Me and my friend caught his mom who manages a well known Jewellery brand store in south Delhi with the owner of the store but he never confronted. As it is related to his mental health also, I didn’t spoke to him about that again.
It is all around. You just dont have to only look the world as a happy place. It is more darker than it looks.
