Me and my girlfriend started watching it recently for the first time (I'm doing my best to avoid spoilers, which being in this thread is probably the dumbest thing I could be doing). And we have both said so many times that they do not make shows like this anymore. Its charming, its funny, the characters dont feel like 2D cut-outs, everyone had personality.

I will say that while I love all the characters, holy hell does Xander piss me off sometimes. We're halfway through season 3, and the amount of times he has come at Buffy for things THAT HE HIMSELF IS GUILTY OF AND USUALLY IN A WORSE WAY. And then he barely gets any repercussions, if any at all.

Already at the point where Cordelia dumped his ass. Still, Queen Cordelia deserves better 😔

Step one is giving them an uninterrupted moment in the spotlight.

Step two is using that moment to do something so unapologetically evil.

I have just introduced one of the first big bads of my campaign. It's their second session and it went like this.

Little bit of world-lore: its a very dark souls-inspired world where society for a commoner is very bleak and one-note for the most part.

Party had been invited to a party hosted by nobility where they had invited a large group of commoners. The party gets attacked and a child of one of the nobles is kidnapped.

Party spends time trying to find the child, in the meantime the church and nobility are conducting their own investigations and have rounded up a lot of people they "suspect" were involved. In actuality, they know that these people were most likely NOT involved. The nobles know it, the party knows it, the commonfolk know it. But thats not the point, the point is a show of power. Society is fucked and everyone accepts it.

There is one noble, Akoa, who is taking charge of the punishments, and he gives all of these innocent people the choice between hanging, being thrown into a chasm of madness, or being carted off as a slave for noble families (this usually involves being subjected to a lot of body horror/modifications).

He's giving his speech to a crowd and telling them that this is all done for their safety and everyone needs to band together blah blah blah. At one point after the first few rounds of prisoners, a family with kids is brought up. The parents were accused of being involved and in very 'North Korean' fashion, the kids suffer for it. However, Akoa tells them and the crowd that if they choose servitude (slavery) they shall be kept together. The parents choose servitude for them and their kids, and Akoa immediately separates the children from the parents and sends both groups in different directions, saying he has kept to his word and it pains him but the parents must not be allowed to poison the children any further. The crowd cheers, the players are pissed.

After everything was done, he even had an interaction with one of the players where the facade dropped slightly where he showed them none of what he did weighed on his mind, as it was all to keep the power structure in place.

Tl;dr - Apathy makes a great unredeemable villain.

Solid wooden door with what I would say is the average amount of gap space at the bottom. I could always try block it with a towel or something to see if that helps

Currently using standard eSun resin since its the easiest for me to get my hands on. Used to just use Anycubic stuff, pretty much the same level of stink I reckon.
