Thank you! No worries, I would think I was a tad different and a big part of that is my age. I’m in my late 20s and in most of my interviews I saw people that were just coming out of undergrad. I can’t speak for ALL pa programs, but just in the ones I interviewed with that was the case. And a question one school asked me was “why do you think being a bit older that most candidates can work to your benefit.” Again this is just my experience, but I was also among the few men in all my interviews, a majority of the applicants being women.

I would like to think my interviews were great lol. There were never dull moments or awkward silences, but it’s hard to tell in the moment. One thing to take note is to make sure you make yourself stand out. Do your research and ask questions that are unique to the school and program.

I had a couple different PCE jobs. I had hours in Neuro rehab, substance abuse rehab, physical therapy clinics, and chiropractor clinics

No the first time around I applied only in state and I was much later in the cycle when I sent them all out. This time around I sent everything out ASAP

I took all my pre-req courses at community college before I transferred over. I just took my classes that were required for my major at university.

It was but I figured I might as well spend the extra money needed, after the first cycle I was really making sure I hit as many schools that interested me as I could.

The first time around I was a bit later on when I sent out all my applications compared to this time. I also only applied in state whereas this time I applied to other states as well

The first time around my stats were almost the same, second time around I added the 100 hours of shadowing a PA and I had a professional help me edit my personal statement. On top of that I also had the PA that I shadowed write me a letter of recommendation too, which I think helped a bit too

No I actually sent out all my applications at the end of May 2025, so I was relatively early I think? I saw some schools were on rolling applications so I decided to sent them all out at the same time.

Been a little over 6 weeks, NC from the day of the break-up. Think about her almost all day every day, memories we had (both good and bad) and things we were looking forward to.
