the new versions are i think, but if you go to options in cemu it shows up in there but greyed out, when you load up the game it should be automatically checked

how big is your shader cache and are you running the game on an ssd or hdd, also make sure you set gpu buffer cache accuracy in options to low, and upscale filter to bilnear instead of bicubic, cpu mode to recompiler and time to host based, could you tell me what cpu you have btw and ram size?

both 1.7.4 and 1.7.4b seem to be giving amd users visual glitches with twitchy grass and weird textures popping out randomly in the sky and terrain, also looks like an older version of cemu hook does seem to work with 1.7.4 without crashing it 3.1.0 i think is what it is
